      this is a question for your mentor or teacher. . . everyone’s settings are different for each tattoo.

      it depends on what kind of work you are doing and the needle really is a good question cause there are so many but ive allways used flats and round so any way i hope i answered your question 4 u tat artist steve b

      i would go by sound of how my machine ran, and what i was tattooing rather than a specific voltage.

      you should try to get an apprenticeship. these are one of the many reasons they exist. they are meant to be very informational and teach you the quirks on the trade.

      gather up some art work and poke your head into your neighboring shops. ask them in they can make you their apprentice. they might charge you for one, or they might even offer you a job in maintaining the shop in exchange for the apprenticeship.

      there is a lot of things that you need to learn hands on, and alot you need to learn from others, who have been there and made plenty of mistakes.
