• The ball on my lip piercing won’t come off. ?

I’ve had it pierced for almost 2 years. I’ve been able to change it many times before, but ever since just before Christmas I haven’t been able to take it off. I’ve tried turning it both ways and i’ve had my bf try but it’s like the ball is welded on to the bar.

This happened to my girlfriend. We held each end with some pliers and were able to unscrew it. It worked quite well and she didn’t get injured while doing it. Try it out, it will work!

Go into daddy’s toolbox and get a pair of sidecutters and cut it.

I have the same problem all of the time, this is going to sound painful but you need to take some pliers to the inside of the piercing and ask your boyfriend or whoever is around to turn it, and it eventually will come off, sometimes an easier way is to wear a dry pair of hospital gloves and twist from both sides, make sure ur mouth is completely dry. if that doesn’t work, they do free removal at piercing shops, most of the time, or at a very low fee.

What you need are some nice latex gloves. They’re super textured and super grippy. Most of the time that’ll do the trick.

Ok, well first off, RIGHTY TIGHTY, LEFTY LOOSY.

If that still doesn’t work, get some pliers and have ur bf gently take it off :)

You can use paper towel to get a grip on the inside of the piercing while you turn the ball to open it. If that doesn’t work, you can try pliers. As a last resort, or if you are irritating your piercing, go to the piercer and have them change it for you. Sometimes you will be charged a fee, usually about $5, but if you bring your own jewellery, you should be fine.
