And it has puss coming outta there at times. I really want to keep my belly button pierced, but I need to figure out how to deal with it so that it looks normal. Please help me!

Definitively consult a doctor. If it is an infection it can be greatly damaging to your body. Seek medical attention at once! (i am sorry i know thats not what you wanted here, but its for your safety)
Neosporin, peroxide, to disinfect. Doctor’s visit, because it sounds really bad
see a doctor
take it off
your going to have to take it out and let it heal then repierce sorry
Go on the à rzte in case of of antibiotics are necessary. Bathe the Piercing in rock salt in water verdà ¼ nnt. I did this fà ¼ to r 2 months after my Piercing and got no infection.
you should try washing it with warm salt water and applying antiseptic cream. you should also check your belly bar as it may have a sharp edge that is catching on the wound. if it doesnt clear up i woul;d advise that u go to the doctors as its probably infected and you may need antibiotics.
Wash twice a day with antibacterial soap and apply Bactine solution. Use a hair dryer on cool setting, to put it after cleaning and disinfecting trocken.Machen a solution of 1 / 2 teaspoon salt and 6 ounces of water in a glass. Invert the glass above the navel and soak for 15 minutes a day. Again, blow dry the area. Keep it clean and dry you can get rid of the infection and heal properly. I would like to have this for six weeks just to be on the safe side.
I had this problem. Verfà ¼ towards à ¼ more ber a bath and genieà EN it your belly drà ¼ cke then the pus out. It is injured, but comes out many more simply than with the Zusammendrà ¼ cken drying. Get some anteseptic and put it on straight after. It becomes like the Hölle if Sting! Hold it as you can säubern. NEVER with the fingers, if you washed it are zunächst it again infected. They können these few times have, as them infect really easily. A good month took fà ¼ mine to r to heal correctly after. That was before 6 years, and it absolutely okay now is, had never any problems there.
you need to go to the doctor they can give you medicine.
try bathing it in salt& water trust me the old remadies are the best i had surgery in my belly button and the stitches went nasty i used salt & water and it was ok in a couple of days.
you can treat it with saline solution – cooking salt, water – boil it up until the salt dissolves and allow to cool, can keep in a little bottle. Treat 3 or 4 times a day until the infection clears and then am and pm for ever more. Belly button piercings are notorious for going bad around 2 out of 3. if you are in doubt see your GP as possible to experience complications and in extreme circumstances removal be surgery. Hope it heals :0)
I would recommend going and seeing your doctor, he can diagnose it and make sure it’s not a serious infection.
Boring answer I know but seek medical advice, you dont want to risk a blood infection or something like that. I have allergies and can only wear titanium bars so check what your bar is made from. Natural products like horn and bone are also less likely to set up reactions/infections.
After this length of time there is clearly something wrong if you get puss from it and better to have to take it out for a while than be scarred for life mate.
try sea salt is mixed with water. My friend uses it on his eyebrow. . . I have on my belly button and it worked wonderfully
Anti-bacterial soap – the best way to care for your piercing is cleaned twice daily (If you are physically active, try to exercise after cleaning schedule). The easiest and most convenient way to clean your piercing is either during or immediately after a hot shower. The hot water and steam will help your skin soft and loosen the crust at the base of your jewelry (so that to remove it easily). During wash in the shower, you hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap, preferably a medical grade soap such as Provon, Satin or Dial (Note: anti-bacterial soaps containing fragrances can irritate your piercing or cause allergic reactions.) Next, remove Carefully use the crust from your jewelry with a disposable one-product, such as a tissue, cotton ball or swab. (Do not use a towel to sleep, because bacteria can in the towel.) Then, some antibacterial soap in your hands and rub together as they produce a nice foam. Wipe the jewelry and your piercing with the fingers, being careful not to scratch or irritate the area. Once the jewelry and piercing lathered with soap, spin the jewelry so that the ball rests on the jewelry on one hole of your piercing, then rotate it so that the ball rests on the opposite hole. This process will help run some soap into the wound and helps to ward off bacteria. After spinning the jewelry back and forth a few times, rinse the area thoroughly and jewelry while continuing the jewelry back and forth turn. (Tip: Place your piercing directly into the shower stream water. Instead, try to divert the water with your hands to reduce the intensity of rinsing.) If your starter jewelry is not a ball bead ring or circular barbell, try your best to the above-described process without congestion and irritation of the surrounding Salt Soaks durchzuführen.Sea (for the infection / it helps clear up) – After completing the above process, you can perform your sea salt soaks either in or out of the shower. First you fill a cup with about 8 ounces warmish / hot water and add ¼ teaspoon of sea salt, stirring until it is resolved. If you are willing to either the cup over the piercing – form a vacuum-type seal – or dip the piercing into the cup. If any of these techniques is not possible, pre-soak a fresh tissue, cotton ball or swab in the sea salt solution and firmly press on your piercing. To promote efficiency, should be the first sea salt soak at least 10 minutes. All additional soaks should be at least 50-10 minutes. After the salt impregnated, Pat your piercing and jewelry dry with a fresh disposable paper or cotton Produkt.Als had infected my piercing I soaking up the sea salt, it draws the puss and fluids to keep them from healing. that small bump is full of fluids, if none of the order will then soak while you can take a small needle, if you can touch them, and plug it into a little bit, not too deep, just enough to puncture fluid can thus be easier to bump out by the sea salt soak drawn. Make sure to use the sea salt sucks right after poking at her best for the results. It was always there to leave for my infection, because leave the Puss in the position, this little bubble, so I wasn’t has had enough and uses a tiny needle to it then soaked some pop my piercing, and within two weeks the bladder, and redness had disappeared. All piercers say never in the jewelry industry because it trap the infection in your body so when you do this and it dont clear up within a few weeks, then go get a doctor if you are still worried, but if you do this , I guarantee it will clean up if you think he may jewelry that causes irritation is then go to the piercer, or be someone in the neighborhood, and talk to them about it, and if they can change to change it for you , without irritating it must be more, or allow it to close. Do not buy iodised sea salt, you can always stop grocery store usually like to get to, and shop, etc. Never use table salt, or anything that is not iodized isn’t because the chemicals in them can cause a worse infection.
USE BACTINE! (You können it with Rite Aid gotten, whale Mart) I promise, it will function!
Keep it clean helps a lot. I use Satin (Http: / / www. Bodyartforms. Com product detail. Asp? ProductID = 474) on all my piercings, and so far its all made uneven weggehen.Ich have something thats used for contacts called sterile saline. One can get such pretty much everywhere. I spray some on a Q-Tip and rub it around the area to säubern.Ändern the jewelry might as well help – the shape / weight of certain jewelry expresses at the opening, and can ensure those annoying bumps form machen.Und course, that Your hands are clean before touching piercing!

I had to take mine out for the same reason. The shop that I got it done at telling me it would get better, but after 5 months of a constant infection and a dark brown ring around the top hole I took it out. I used Mederma on it and it lightened a lot.
apply a paste of turmeric powder and aloevera gel
you need to remove your stomach in order to loose the infection
i had that problem as well, it may be the ring-maybe your allergic.
Overwise, take out ur belly bar, clean it properly with savlon spray and cotton wool, and don’t keep touchin it! then put in a different bar, which your not allergic to or don’t wear one.
