Nan! I was highlighting my hair and dying the hair at different lounges for years and have had many brands of color used to lighten or dye my hair, he never made any difference to how the color turned out. The only difference is that you may notice that you might not be able to get the exact same color, but most professional hairdressers have a wide variety of colors so you should be able to get one that is quite similar, especially if you get a range of colors.
