I have a tattoo on my lower back, (I got as a gift for divorce LONG before the term “tramp stamp” has ever invented, we should not hate smile *) Any way, it took 2 hours to “work up” and nearly five hours for tat. And I have my Chinese zodiac (the horse) between my shoulders . That one took about 20 minutes to work up, and about an hour for tat. Whatever the amount of time it took to actually work on my skin, with a doubt on the TAT My lower back hurt almost as bad as childbirth. (I should know. I gave birth three times) .. Between the shoulders, not tellement.Mais whatever the pain, I’m not too much. It is therapeutic. Or dare I say, spiritual. Now I know you do not want to hear the party blah blah. I was 30 + when I had my first. I took the time to ensure that the image (s) were something I could live with for the rest of my life. So far I’m okay with that. I know it hurts more in some parts of your body, but from a 1-10, how painful is it compared to others? If I can not get one of my back, I thought of my forearm. * YES! I know it’s permanent and it will grow old and quaint, with age, but I’m not worried.
