If you’re willing to pay about £30, because that is what my sister paid, then go up to one of the girls that work on the proper makeup counters in there, they will sit you down and try out different foundations on you matching to your skin type and colour, my sister did this in one of the bigger boots stores, ive used her foundation since and it really is worth the money, a little bit goes a long way and it stays put all day.

powder is great for reducing spots and blemishes because it doesnt block your pores. however, its coverage isnt great. if you want to cover blemishes, i would say a mousee is best. try mabelline dream matte mousee, it is a foundation and powder all in one so will give you a better coverage as its quite thick, and its really natural looking too. its really good for dark circles under my eyes which always seemed impossible to cover up. if this doesnt work for you, they do a concealer version of dream matte mousee and use this underneath the foundation.

to apply it begin with clean hands and a clean face. apply moisturizer appropriate to your skin type. let it soak in for a few minutes, particularly if your skin is oily. camouflage under-eye circles and blemishes with concealer if you have any, if not the foundation should do a good job. make sure you select a shade that matches your skin, disappearing when blended well. place a small amount of foundation on the back of one hand. dip your fourth finger into it. apply to the center of your face: cheeks, forehead, chin. blend out to your hair and jawline until the foundation vanishes. pay special attention to blending around the nose, mouth and jawline.

      hope this helps

i like clinique pressed powder. . . . . it will give you the coverage without looking caked on and thick. . . . . . it also helps to put concealer on your blemishes before putting on your foundation.

ANY of avon is great they supply a lot of different types I’d say atm I’ve bout 3 diff ones in my bag but more in make-up bag, it’s really resonably priced too they also do really nice coloured eyeshadows and eyeliners n pretty much everything else!

a mineral-based foundation that gives flawless coverage is Bare Minerals. what it does? Bare minerals is made of only pure, crushed minerals from the earth, bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation looks like a powder, feels like a cream, and buffs on like silk, giving skin a natural luminosity while feeling as if u are not wearing any makeup at all. what else u need to know? the coverage is complete and is free of preservatives, talc, oil, waxes, fragrances, and other chemicals that can irritate skin and cause breakouts.

Natural mineral makeup would be good as they are free from harsh chemicals and still do a good job with coverage. In the UK, I would recommend Lily Lolo. They are only a mail order business but you might have their stockists around where you are if you check their website. They also offer cheap samples for you to test out first and delivery is pretty quick (1-2 days)!

      http://www. lilylolo. co. uk/home. php

And if you decided to venture further into mineral makeup, a US brand is Everyday Minerals. Delivery to the UK takes ages though from 2-3 weeks.

      http://www. everydayminerals. com

Both are similar to one another but Everyday Minerals has a wider range of products and can be extremely addictive! They also seem to have a large following from acne-prone users (check source) who swears by them including me!

Good luck with your search! =D

Well, I don’t know what “Boots” is but here is what I recommend, it’s Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place make up. It’s a long lasting foundation that wont smear or turn cakey looking & it has a med. coverage. (I mean you don’t want your face looking like a mask I assume?). It’s also oil free, so no breakouts!! Here is a link for you: http://www. esteelauder. com/templates/products/sp_shaded. tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY5849&PRODUCT_ID=PROD7654

I don’t know what boots is.
So do you want full coverage or A Flawless look?
      They are not the same.
Full Coverage is when you look really cakey because you use a lot of foundation.
A Flawless look is like a natural look.
I’m just gonna assume you want a natural look.
For Oily Skin, I suggest getting a foundation from MAC.
Go to your local nearest Macy’s, Nordstrom and go to the MAC Counters.
Tell them you want a foundation.
      Good Luck! =)
